The return of the Saboteur will coincide with “Pandora’s Box,” a temptation offered to the head of household that will unleash good or bad things on the rest of the house. The first evil unleashed will be the Saboteur.

Unlike Annie, who Grodner said would have been pulled out of the house after she had completed her four-week reign of terror, the new Saboteur will continue to compete as long as he or she remains in the game. He or she could perhaps even win the grand prize. Also, the identity of the new Saboteur will not be revealed until finale night, whether he or she is evicted or not.

Allison Grodner The saboteur may not be dead after all! You’ll find out more tonight (July 29). Make sure you watch! We loved this twist. We were hoping it would go longer. But we don’t rig this show. People accuse us of rigging this show, people accuse us of trying to manipulate things. We don’t! We picked someone who was playing her own game, who was a huge fan, who had everything going for her. It wasn’t the saboteur (twist) that got her out, it was her own silly game play – which she did not have to overdo. We would have loved for it to go longer, but it didn’t. And the summer goes on! We ran this risk on every twist we’ve played…

Grodner Everything had this same risk associated with it. It is what it is with the game. It gave us a jolt, it was fun. But it’s not over yet!

Why are you sequestering all the houseguests this year?
Grodner We’ve done that in seasons past because of the expect the unexpected. That might happen. It’s become a safety net for us. If it plays into something, it plays into something. It may or may not.

It looks like forgettable Big Brother 10 houseguest turned hardcore gay porn star Steven Daigle is returning to the Big Brother house.

This weekend, he changed his Twitter handle back to StevenFromBB10, and now has someone else tweeting for him. That’s because, as he wrote in his last tweet, “Alright tweeps, gonna be MIA. ‘unexpected’ trip 2 Cali 2 help a relative with a challenge, catch ya later when I have my phone again!”

I think there’s enough coded language there to make it clear what he’s doing: “help a relative” (i.e. Big Brother) with “a challenge.” While it seems most likely for him to return to do something like host a challenge, having his phone taken away and being gone for at least three days suggests it’s more than that. As long as it doesn’t involve the possibility of Jessie joining the show again, I don’t care.

Live feed watchers haven’t reported anything about him being in the house, although there are interesting theories connected with the Saturday saboteur announcement.
