What’s been up? i haven’t written in a long time, I have been so busy and alot has been going on since we last talked or wrote. LOL

I’ve been pretty good overall considering I lost my Grandma a month ago due to Cancer of the Liver. I loved her so very much:( She was a HUGE influence in my life and pretty much my mom. I’m not as close to my own mom as I was with my Grandma so it has been tough these past few weeks. Monday my family and I are all taking Grandmas ashes to be buried next to my Grandpa in Portland. It’s hard to believe she is gone physically. I will miss her greatly and know her spirit is living in me.

On a brighter side I just got back from the Big Brother Reunion in Rainbow, Oregon. It’s about 2 hours south from where I live:) 15 houseguests went: BB9: Me, representing where it’s at! Alex, Parker, Chelsia.BB10 Brian,Michelle, April.BB6: James, Janelle, Howie,Beau, Ashlea. BB8: Kail, Joe. BB5:Cowboy.

We had a blast!! I made sure I gave everyone crap about being in MY state!! I would say things like “would you look at the size of those trees” , “Do you smell that fresh air!” and boy did they!! Parker kept smelling the air, Chelsia couldn’t believe how green Oregon is and Howie keptlooking for Bigfoot:)LOL

“After spending Monday night with Angie, Steven, Brian, Monica, and Kelly I knew the Big Brother 10 Finale was going to be ridiculous. Not to mention the hour I spent with Dan’s Mom trying to convince her that her son had it locked up.
So after getting to the Finale I expected to be placed in the Green Room with my BB Alum entourage which consisted of Jen BB9, Parker, Chelsia, Josh, Sharon BB9 and our friends. I met Nick BB8 when I got there and he was really an outstanding guy. One of those people you meet and just know you’ll be friends. I also met ED, saw Zach and a slew of other peeps from BB Past. Beau and Ashlea pulled up in a Mercedes Mothership which was too be expected…”

I understand your contempt for Amber for what she has said, only Mel Gibson would probably agree with her in this day and age, but for you to slander all the past and present houseguests is truly a sign of your own ignorance. I was on 2 seasons of the show and cast off of myspace. I had never seen the show before getting on it, as you probably have never watched it sense you made many references based on opinion other than fact. As with any article, I would expect that an esteemed journalist such as yourself would have done a fair amount of investigation, but your article proves to the contrary.

You claim that only one past Houseguest, Cassandra Waldon, is the one exception to the “awfulness”. Really? so her working for an orgainization that milks US tax dollars like it was Ted Kennedy at dollar drink night, is so remarkable. How about the members of that same orgainization that stole billions from the Iraqi people in the Oil for Food Scandal? Or raped girls as young as 8 in the Congolese? Or allowed genocide to happen in Seirra Leone, Darfur, Rwanda, and Liberia? Great role model… Maybe Amber should apply after she leaves Big Brother.

Having been on 2 seasons and knowing that I was not going to be a “TV star” afterwards, myself and others have done ridiculous amounts of charity work to try and spend our “15 minutes” doing something positive. Right now past Big Brother houseguests are raising thousands of dollars for a 4y/o girl with an inoperable brain tumor in Maine. Here is her website http://patientsweb.org/rabekah Several of us “awful” Big Brother types raised over $33,000.00 for Project Angel Food in LA, which delivers food to terminally ill people that can not feed themselves.I myself have worked with the EmergencyFund here in Chicago, hosted a blood drive for Life Source Communty Blood Blank, done work for the United Way, Juvenille Diabetes Research Foundation, Hurricane Katrina Relief, MilitaryFamilySupport.org, just to name a few. So next time you want to tear someone apart for stereotyping a particular group of people, don’t then become the exact same person that you criticize.
