Hello to everyone back home or wherever you are in the world.
Had a few minutes and some working internet so I wanted to post a blog about some things that have been happening to me on the trip. I have so much to say and not even time to say it all.
Basically life has been a super crazy roller coaster ride since I stepped foot on the plane over here. It all started with a 2 hour flight to Atlanta, then a 14 hour flight to Dubai, next a 2 hour flight to Kuwait city, 2 hours to get a Visa, an hour spent filling a report for my lost bag and a 30 minute ride to the hotel, it was a very long day!
Once in Kuwait it was all fancy and fun times, we stayed at a beautiful fancy hotel, J.W. Marriott, with great food and fantastic service. Spent two nights there then it was a 2 hour flight to Baghdad, this became the most unique and exciting part thus far.
The plane lands on the military side of Baghdad International Airport and we are instructed to exit the plane and wait on the tarmack, next is …

I will be over in Renny’s neck of the woods for her Grand Marshalling duties. So, if anyone wants to meet me there, wherever the hell that is… come on down.
I’ll let you know after I speak with her today.
And I am open for suggestions of a time and place down here on Bourbon Street. and if you wouldn’t mind posting any suggestions under this blogs comments, it will be easier and then you can fight amongst yourselves and work it out too.
Now for Daytona… I think I arrive on Friday and will be there until I go see Motley Crue in Orlando and leave from there the next day… Or maybe I will go to Disneyworld and back to Daytona for the weekend, I don’t know yet….
If you haven’t already figured it out, I just go…. wherever it is that I end up is a mystery even to me. But again, when I figure it out, I will let you know.
So, if you are in the area, come out and have a drink with me, here or there and maybe somewhere inbetween, who the hell knows… but I am usually ready to go home after 2 weeks no matter where I have been, so…

“The Mandala Maker” (Short Film That I’m In) Is Getting Some Great Early Buzz
Helllllllllllllllo all! I have some exciting news to share with you guys. A few months back, I was lucky enough to film a role in a short film, “The Mandala Maker” written and directed by Sam Borowski. Working alongside actors such as Daniel Roebuck (”Lost,” “Matlock,” “Halloween,” “Nash Bridges”), Tony Award winner and Emmy nominee Terrence Mann, Yangzom Brauen (”Aeon Flux”) and more, it’s safe to say that I was quite honored to be sharing the screen with such an esteemed cast.
And although he would KILL me if he knew I was doing this, I have to give a shout out to the uber talented writer/director, Sam Borowski. Scope him out and show him some love on imdb, hit him up on myspace, what have you…but jump on this guy’s bandwagon now before he blows up. He has a few major projects in the pipeline and in a few years, I’m going to be telling people “a few years back, I actually got to work with Sam Borowski.” Haha. I’m telling you…big things are on the horizon for him.
So, in any event, the film is starting to get some exciting press and yours truly got a very nice shout out in one of the articles (SEE BELOW THE DOTTED LINE FOR THE REST OF THIS POST)

Well, boys and girls…
Thanks for all the Xmas cards and gifts, I do really appreciate them.
I want to apologize for not being here on my myspace to bullshit with you and keep you up on the latest shit in my life. I have just been busy and took a break from a lot of the internet, period. But, I am back and fine, thanks for everyone who sent letters of their concern, but everything is fine.
Seems as though Fox Reality has decided not to sue me over the footage posted on my website which should actually be launching in the very near future. So, go check out my site with the footage of me presenting the award for Entertainer of the Year with the 2 naked porn stars and Joanie from Happy Days and Joanie Loves Chachi, who makes a guest appearance as the official ass smacker of all naked porn stars at the Really Awards.
I am now official with Real Player, what I was doing was just a dream, it never really happened, except if you check out the Ollie and April interview. They put aside money in their budget for my webcast and some other goodies I think we can perhaps pull off.
I do have to say for a large cooperation, they have moved pretty quickly and have been very open to my ideas over there.
My weekly webcast is a go for this coming season. Last year was very tough for me doing it on the fly, but …

The Host of the Amazing Race: Phil Keoghan
Born in Lincoln, New Zealand, Keoghan spent a considerable part of his childhood in Antigua and Canada. He has worked in over 70 countries as a television host, producer, writer, and cameraman. He currently lives with his wife, Louise, and daughter, Elle, in Los Angeles. They also have a home in Matarangi, on the Coromandel Peninsula, New Zealand. Phil’s brother Andrew Keoghan was a television reporter on Television New Zealand’s One News and is a successful jazz singer.
While completing a TV cameraman apprenticeship, he successfully auditioned for New Zealand children’s show Spot On at age 19. After a series of further presenter work on television in New Zealand television, he set off to further his career abroad. Before joining The Amazing Race, he was considered as a host for Survivor, but was unsuccessful partly due to his nationality. In a 2002 interview, he admitted that his pay for a single episode of The Amazing Race is more than an entire year on Spot On.
According to his book, No Opportunity Wasted, Keoghan set out to live his life to the fullest by accomplishing exotic goals and taking risks after a near-death experience at the age of 19. Since then, he’s broken a world bungee jumping record, gone diving in the world’s longest underwater caves, eaten a meal on top of an erupting volcano, and renewed his vows underwater. He was a guest on The Oprah Winfrey Show, where he shared with Oprah his list of things he wants to do before he dies. The focus of many of his shows is helping others live their lives to the fullest.

Here now is the Final Team, #11: Lakisha and Jennifer
LaKisha Hoffman (28); Jennifer Hoffman (24)
Hometown: Bronx, N.Y. / Louisville, Ky.
Occupation: LaKisha (Program Coordinator); Jennifer (Marketing Assistant)
Relationship: Sisters
These two former Division 1 College athletes look forward to becoming the first ever all female Team to win the Race. Besides athleticism, these sisters have little in common.
LaKisha works as a youth program coordinator and basketball coach. She hopes the same strengths that make her a good coach – patience and a strong competitive nature – will ultimately make her the best Racer the game has seen. Meanwhile, she claims her sister is very impatient and blunt when it comes to dealing with others or speaking her mind.
Jennifer works as a marketing assistant and newsletter coordinator for an assisted living company. She claims that she is the creative one while LaKisha is the analytical one…two traits that will undoubtedly be tested on the Race. Jennifer is infectiously energetic and confident, played college volleyball at the University of Louisville. LaKisha played basketball for the same school. Both have a competitive drive and are eager to put it to the test against this season’s crop of Racers.

Mark makes his living as a stuntman and occasionally works as a jockey. This father of two is looking forward to running the Race with his brother in order to continue building on their relationship. Here now is Team #8: Tammy and Victor
Tammy Jih (26); Victor Jih (35)
Hometown: San Francisco, Calif./Los Angeles, Calif.
Occupation: Lawyers
Relationship: Siblings/Lawyers
If they can manage to work together, this smart and sassy brother/sister duo – both with Harvard Law degrees – might have just what it takes to outsmart the competition and cross the finish line first.
Tammy is a litigator who believes that her ability to keep a cool head under pressure, especially with little or no sleep, will lead to success on the Race. Her biggest pet peeve with her brother is that he’s a bit of a control freak. This was never more evident than when they recently traveled with friends to China and Victor mapped out the entire trip down to the minute.
Victor is a partner at his law firm and works as a corporate litigator. He is running the Race to see if he and his sister can co-exist in a hyper-competitive situation without driving each other crazy. Victor thinks that his teammate can be immature and selfish and he’s hoping the Race will remedy that.

One of the qualities they share is that they are both very strong minded individuals and, as a team, they hope to bring out the best in each other and solidify their relationship.
On several occasions they have broken up and made up. Jennifer is ready to plan for her future by either moving forward in her relationship with Preston or ending it and moving forward in her life without him, while Preston has taken the step of moving from Birmingham, Ala. to Columbia, S.C. to be closer to her but still has some reservations
about what the future may bring.
