Article: Interview with Justin Giovinco, BB4

Posted by anon on Sunday, July 22nd, 2007

“Out of eight seasons of Big Brother on CBS, we’ve seen a parade of memorable
personalities, lovable clowns, dastardly villains, and completely boring snouts.
Only once did we see a player with the traits of Justin Giovinco. This man came in
and took over. As part of the cast of Big Brother 4: The X Factor, Justin entered
the house as the ex of contestant Alison Irwin. He quickly organized a trio of
exes, headed by himself, which virtually ran the house for several weeks. With his
Italian heritage, boyish good looks, and tough bravado, he earned himself the
nickname of The Godfather…and he wore the moniker with pride.
Justin himself isn’t much like the persona he perfected for the show. He’s really
a sweetheart of a guy who knows how to have a good time and who wanted to
push the envelope as far as he could push it on Big Brother. Since his reign in the
Big Brother house, he’s done some work in the entertainment industry, but he
found his real niche in the business world. Hailing from Philadelphia, Justin is a
college graduate and he excelled at wrestling. Competitive and ambitious, he
made use of these traits to beguile and intrigue America during the summer of
2003. He earned the respect of millions in the process. Now leading a quieter life
in Los Angeles, he took the time out of his schedule to chat with me and bring me
up to date on what he’s been doing since we last saw him on TV.
Justin is a good friend. He’s someone I am proud to have in this forum. That he
still so openly shares himself with the fans he gained, and has maintained, is just
another example of what kind of person he is at heart. Generous, open, and
caring. Ladies and gentlemen, The Godfather is still real in. “
