Julie Chen, host of Big Brother USA married CBS’s Leslie Moonves.
“They were married at sunset Dec. 23 at a private home in Mexico, and honeymooned at the posh Las Ventanas resort in Cabo San Lucas.
Moonves, 55, has guided CBS to the top of the ratings and was rewarded this year with the co-presidency of Viacom, the network’s corporate parent. He was divorced earlier this month from his first wife, Nancy, after 24 years of marriage.”

“Well, it was bound to happen. The Les Moonves/Julie Chen union has finally morphed into holy matrimony. Yes, as Defamer first warned us last week, Chenbot and CBS president Les Moonves skipped town last week for a romantic getaway in Mexico where the couple was officially anointed Husband and Robot. Wedding guests included friends and family of both parties such as Dan Rather, Sumner Redstone, and HAL. While most said the ceremony was “lovely” and “charmingly rigid”, others expressed confusion over the format. Rumor has it that Julie Chen greeted guests at the door by saying “Hello, and welcome to the Moonves/Chen wedding. Tonight we’ll watch as Les, the CBS executive from New York City, and Julie, the idle chatter cyborg from Dell Laboratories, join their hands in marriage. But first, please find your seats.”
Others said it was odd how during the ceremony, Julie would occasionally turn to the audience and say “The rabbi has now asked us to share our vows. Let’s listen in!” One guest, who wished to remain anonymous, felt momentarily awkward when the rabbi asked Les if he wished to take Julie ’til death do they part. Apparently Julie snapped at her future husband, saying “I need an answer Les. LES. There’s no more time!” When he finally said “I do,” Julie allegedly refused to accept his commitment until he raised a green or a red paddle.
In the end, all was well as Julie conducted an awkward exit interview with her new husband. Later, the Chenbot got drunk off of sangria and threw up on Early Show cohort Hannah Storm, who laughed it off by saying “Don’t worry. I’m immensely forgettable!”"

“Hosts Rob and Scott welcomed guests Brad Estrin (”American Idol 1″), Nathan Marlow and Michelle Maradie (”Big Brother 4″). Rob talked with Brad about the “Christmas in TheFishbowl” CD and his experiences on “American Idol” and they played some of his song, “The First Noel” (sounds terrific!) Then they asked Michelle what she’s been up to since “BB4″ and Rob commented on Nathan’s new short haircut.”

Hosts Reichen Lehmkuhl (”Amazing Race 4″) and Toni Ferrari (”Paradise Hotel”) updated us on what they’ve been up to, then talked about Toni’s recent trip to Las Vegas and Reichen told his favorite moment from last night’s show. They welcomed Allison Irwin (”Big Brother 4″ and “Amazing Race 5″) and Reichen asked her how she got on a second Reality show after being on BB4. Toni asked if Allison would do AR again, and then Reichen asked a question from the chat about which show she liked best (”Big Brother”). Wendell from the chat room asked if the other AR contestants knew she had been on another Reality show (they did), and the next question was about her elimination.

“The relatively new phenomenon of “Reality TV” has struck perhaps the richest vein of gay and lesbian imagery on television. In “BENDING REALITY”, ITL explores the evolution of reality television as it relates to LGBT representation. Interviews include cast members of “Queer Eye for the Straight Guy” as well as the show’s creator David Collins, “Big Brother 5″ cast member Will Wikle, reality show creator Stuart Krasnow, and GLAAD Executive Director Joan Garry among others.”

“VIACOM honcho Les Moonves and CBS “Early Show” anchor Julie Chen are heading to Mexico this weekend to get married, sources say. Earlier this month, Moonves asked a Los Angeles judge to grant him a quickie divorce from his wife of many years, Nancy, and pals of the couple say it was to clear the way for their wedding. “Les and Julie don’t want to wait until a financial settlement with Nancy is reached,” one insider said. The couple is off to Cabo San Lucas for the Christmas/New Year’s holidays.”

I love Will’s site, so I understand why he specifically is interviewing Diane, but when I first saw this interview I thought damn, it’s sad when they have to interview each other. :/ Anyhoo, worth a read.

Michael and April got married, supposedly not inviting either sent of parents. It was a beautiful affair and went off without a hitch (excuse the pun). They will be coming back from their honeymoon today so April can go back to work.

“First News caught up with former Big Brother cast member Michael Ellis on the day of his wedding Thursday, as he spent time with cast mates Scott and Drew.
Ellis, who lives in Durant, formed not just an alliance with the two men on the show, but a friendship that survived money and fame. Drew ended up walking away with $500,000 while Michael took 2nd place. Today they reiterated that there were no hard feelings.
Ellis won’t have all of his family at the wedding though. His half-sister Nakomis, who he met for the first time on the show, and his biological father won’t attend. So far he’s only talked to his father on the phone. Ellis says they will meet when the time is right.”

OK I left off in the guest book that Jase and I drove to the location where the van was picking up all the reality people to take us all to Vegas.. Then we found out, that the fashion designer (who’s show it was), arranged a different car for Jase and I to travel in, because apparently “Diane” was in the van with Lori and all the others, and they didn’t want to have a cat fight between the two of us! So the fashion designer lady put us in a car with her assistant! Who seemed to be nice at the time of departure but things quickly took a turn for the strange!
