Holly on Nip/Tuck

Posted on Thursday, September 30th, 2004 at 12:38 pm by anon

The other day (Monday? I’m not sure, it airs on a different day here in Canada) Holly was on Nip/Tuck. She played a naughty nurse named Fantasua. She makes out with a guy, then immediately gives him a BJ. Then the director calls cut, and tells Holly some instructions (like “take your tit out sooner”). Holly has no lines, and attempts to “act” with her face, which looks more like some weird miming attempts.

Drew Speaks Out

Posted on Thursday, September 30th, 2004 at 6:29 am by anon

“Hey guys,

I’ve been down in Covington to see Diane tonight and meet all her friends from home for her welcome home party. I just wanted to say, thanks everyone that has posted on this site-you guys are all awesome-whether you have something good or bad to say about Diane or I, at least you are voicing your opinion. I’m sorry if I ever rubbed anyone the wrong way-but I really hope everyone understands that Diane & I were in a very unnormal environment in a crazy game-and thats just what it was-a game. Just like if you were playing Monopoly or chess at home with your fam., this game we played was played 24/ 7 for three months, and now its over-and now we can get back to our own lives.

Thanks to those who have posted on this forum-you are the ones who seem to really understand me, my thoughts on life concerning decisions you have and dealing with the consequences of them, and how I played the game and how I’ve lived my life. If you have a dream, write it down and go after it. Make sure you get your education-thats your ticket in life. But, do what you want and be confident in whatever you do–and you’ll do awesome in this crazy world that we live in.

Later on,

Diane’s biggest fan & Your BB5 friend-Drew”

Diane Interview

Posted on Wednesday, September 29th, 2004 at 6:23 am by anon

Do you think that if Lindsey had been picked for BB she would have done as well as you did?

Umm maybe, my guess is she probably would have been chewed up and spit back out by the others. She’s way too nice to people she doesn’t know. But then again, she could have pulled the “nice girl” act to maybe get to the end.

After you got out of the house, did your feelings for Drew change in any way?

My feelings for Drew never changed, even outside the house. I like him more and more everyday, it’s just hard to get used to not being around him 24/7.

Is there anyone in the house you plan on staying in contact with? Anyone you plan on staying far, far away from?

I am definitely staying in contact with Drew of course, Scott, my Prince Will, Lori, Marvin, maybe the Don, and Nic if I can find her #.

As for people like Holly, no thanks…I’ll pass. But I really do think Jase would be a good guy if he wasn’t around her. The twins are great, they just talk way too much, and Karen probably not. CB I’ll pass on that too.

What are your feelings about the Four Horsemen making the final 2?

Good for them. If I had know that they were still tight even after losing their top 2 men, I would have broken them up too. Oh well.

If you could have picked anyone else to win, other than you, Cowboy, or Drew, who would it have been and why?

Definitely Nic for sure. She played a hell of a game. Probably better than CB or even Drew. She would have deserved it.

What was the finale like for you?

Fun and nerve-racking. I was scared to see Drew since we hadn’t talked since my eviction. Plus I was hoping he would win and not CB dumb-ass. Live shows are always scary.

What happened at the afterparty? Did anything anyone said/did surprise you?

The afterparty was fun too. I actually didn’t really move from the same spot once I got there. CBS put on a small skit on the big screen about CB and how he actually made it to the end and Drew with his weird dream about a sock puppet. It was the funniest thing I have ever seen. It just went to show that even CBS wondered how in the hell CB made it to the end.

As for the people, they were all great! Jase and Holly were once again making asses of themselves by walking around like they were Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston. Needless to say, no one was talking to them. Other than that….

If you and Lindsey could have done what Adria and Natalie did, a) would you have? b) do you think it would have helped you win?

Absolutely not!!! If Lindsey were on there it would have probably been the first time ever we would actually be viewed in a negative light, just like A and Nat. And I would never want people to see us “twins” as a negative thing. I know that I had a better chance at winning by myself.

Are you going to hook Lindsey and Ben up? ;)

Well they both are dating someone, but that would be neat, I’ll se what I can do. Ben’s too nice for Lindsey.

Are you planning on moving to L.A. (if you don’t already live there) to find a career in the entertainment business?

Hell ya…it’s on the top of my list of things to do. I am actually at home right now, but plan on flying out in a few weeks to talk to people before I actually make the move.

If you are moving to L.A., do you plan on moving in with Drew once there?

Well all I know is that I want to live with responsible people. Drew, his brother,

Scott and myself would all love to live there, but as far as living arrangements go we don’t know.

Do you plan on selling anything you got in the house on eBay?

I would love too, but is that too cheezy? I mean after all, I didn’t win jack-shit for money on the show, lol.

Do you plan on launching an official website?

Bikr has already made me an unbelievable website (Diane-Henry.com) and it’s awesome. I told him to make it the “Official” Diane website.

How did you feel when you found out that the modeling photos and Girls Gone Wild videos had been found and posted on the internet?

I laughed my ass off. We have all done stupid things in life, and the modeling photos were one of the stupidest things I’ve done. As for the Girls Gone Wild video, I had about a pint of yag in me, so go figure. Plus it was at Derby. You have to get crazy and wild at Derby, it’s a must. Probably one of the funnest nights I have ever had. And the girl in the video was my roommate at the time, so I did know her.

Do you plan on reading the fan sites and message boards someday?

Oh, I gave in the first night I got home, and I am addicted. It’s so weird and cool to see that I have fans. Plus I love reading their posts, because they are usually such great words of support, love and encouragement. Amazing people! I usually don’t miss a post.

Do you still refer to the online fans of the show as “Internet Stalkers”?

come on now, I was just teasin. Did you ask that question to all the other HG’s?

Do you plan on doing any TheFishbowl.com radio shows?

I actually am thinking about it. They keep calling. I wanted to at first, but a few people have told me to stay away from it for some reason which I don’t really know why yet.

Thanks Diane!

More From Marvin

Posted on Tuesday, September 28th, 2004 at 12:14 pm by anon

“The question for Cowboy was something i felt I needed to get off my chest and see how he reats under pressure. Everybody is afraid to hurt cowboy’s feeling and ask him tough questions so i did.

You have to remember, this isn’t a court of law and in the BB house, you are guilty until proven innocent. From what I’m told, they left out my comment after I asked the question, i said “OK, I think Cowboy answered the question and I was done with it.” I had to sweat his ass when 500K is on the line and his ass didn’t do anything for 3 mths. But on a persoal level, Cowboy and i are cool as a fan. They didn’t show that on the show because they wanted tension. Me and Cowboy are cool but what I said in his ear is personal.” – Marvin (thanks Brett!)

Why BB Twice a Year Won’t Fly at CBS

Posted on Sunday, September 26th, 2004 at 7:50 am by anon

“Like so many other millions across America who tuned in to make BB5 the top show on TV for Tuesday night, I would love to know why Big Brother is not produced twice each year?” – Rene de Lambert

1. Ratings, Or Lack Thereof: The ratings are not *great* – peaking at 10.54 million viewers isn’t a lot, when you compare it to reality juggernauts like Survivor (20 million), The Apprentice (15.9 million), etc. BB’s ratings are *gold* for the SUMMER, but not for the Fall where they have so many huge hits at CBS.

2. Playing the Slots: Where would they put 3 more episodes of Big Brother? Their prime time slots are already full of winners – CSI (22.3 million), 60 Minutes (16 million), Without a Trace (16 million), and even Survivor. There is just no room in the fall line up for three one-hour episodes of Big Brother, especially with their crummy ratings.

3. Bling Bling: Big Brother may give away a cheap prize, but it still costs a lot to maintain the house, create and stock challenges, pay the 24 hour a day editing team and cameramen, pay the other staff, etc. etc. etc. It’s worth it to win the summer nights, but its not worth it to lose in the fall.

4. Busy Beavers: The big honchos on the show have other shows to produce – Arnold Shapiro and Allison Grodner don’t just work on BB, they also produce other reality shows and scripted dramas as well. Right now they’re working on Missy Elliot’s new reality show, and also “Situation: Comedy” for Bravo.

5. The Stomach Factor: Big Brother is one of the seedier big-name reality tv programs. Survivor provides a lot of good wholesomeness along with its lying, backstabbing, and deceit. Sure, they eat bugs, but they also do a lot of hard work and cheer a lot as a team. It redeems itself in these situations, and so we can handle a dose of it twice a year. Big Brother, on the other hand, has little hard work and team jubilance. Instead, it is 24 hours a day of gossiping, backstabbing, lying, and even cheating if they can. Especially with the live feeds, its tough to try to get MOST people to watch twice a year – we can barely recover from it as it is.

6. School’s Out For Summer: The biggest demographic for BB is young people – the kind of people who are home all day in the summer and buy the live feeds for something to do, or are home at night to watch the show. In the Fall or Winter, these kids have homework at night and school during the day – no time for Big Brother.

We’re lucky enough that they haven’t cancelled it in the summer, twice a year is really pushing it.
